Overlook • Riverside open space concept cabin at Riverhill Hideaway

A great place to stay . Positive: Beautiful. Lots of birds and plants to look at. Very well maintained by Albert the caretaker who is a wealth of information. We loved our daily visits from Willy and Stinky the properties dogs. Negative: Our little cabin was great , it had everything we needed for the week we were there. The only thing I thought I was getting with my booking was a king bed which would have been nice. We don’t sleep well in a smaller bed.

Positive: What a beautiful property! The accommodations were fantastic. So nicely crafted. We stayed in overlook. The bedroom, outdoor kitchen and private siting area made for a wonderful stay. Hadas, Melody and Albert were very friendly and helpful. Thank you! Negative: The only thing I didn’t like was leaving! Would have liked several more days there!

Positive: Beautiful, comfortable with helpful staff who met us when we arrived. Albert was full of ideas from where to look for toucan to how to get to the nearby waterfall. Good spot to explore Cahal Pech and Xunantunich, as well as San Antonio to the south with its butterfly ranch, women's collective for crafted gifts to take home, and Ox Mul coffee. Cristo Rey a quiet town with a good restaurant, Carms. Highly recommend!

Cozy jungle house with buestiful surroundings Positive: We loved how cozy and homey it felt away from home. He loved the location to get rural privacy but also enjoy and bask in the beautiful jungle. We adored the yellow house, the river and Monkey falls, and even Stink and Willy as our friends and guards outside. Negative: Honestly can’t think of anything. Everything we needed and wanted was there!
